Circle R Ranch was established in 1999 with a starter herd of huacaya alpacas. These “alternative” livestock animals introduced to us a tranquil and profitable lifestyle that we have shared with others and enjoy to this day.
Our ranch is located in Caledonia, Michigan where our alpacas enjoy meeting and greeting visitors. We offer a full array of services including alpaca sales with full guarantees and new breeder support. While visiting the ranch, guests are welcome to browse our “Everything Alpaca” ranch store
Since opening in 2002, the “Everything Alpaca” store has come to mean just that. With the finest quality yarns as well as finished goods being offered, you will find that our store has everything you are looking for, and more.
Why should I choose alpaca? Alpaca fleece is as soft and every bit as luxurious as Cashmere. Why wear wool, when you can wear something that is half the weight and won’t irritate your skin. The warmth and insulating ability of Alpaca is second to none and promises to keep you warm and comfortable any time of the year. Other rewarding qualities, alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic, garments made of alpaca do not easily tear, pill, stain or create static.
All of the products we carry are made from either Baby Alpaca or Superfine Alpaca fiber; this ensures a soft, cozy feel. We also offer numerous handcrafted items made right here from Circle R Ranch yarn. In the store, you will find not only the softest Alpaca yarn to make your own garments and creations, but also the most luxurious finished garments made from similar yarn; just in case you don’t have the time to knit a sweater by hand today.
If you’re ready to start living life in the comfort and suppleness of Alpaca, look no further. Please give us a call or stop by today to see the difference for yourself.
