Small farm offering pick-your-own, organically produced rhubarb and horseradish. Also available are rhubarb seeds, cookbooks, and locally produced honey. Farm in commercial sales since 1997. Produces 2+ tons of rhubarb annually from 7 different varieties, including their proprietary Colorado Red (Larger and many times more productive than Crimson Red, smaller but similar in output to Canada Red. Red inside/out) Tours are offered the first week of June, culminating with the harvest weekend the first weekend in June...which is the best time to tour. Picnic tables, majestic views, complementary rhubarb tea, rhubarb snacks and other beverages during harvest weekend. Tours are free and will include a description of their unique, water-conserving, low-labor organic technology, a brief history of rhubarb, and, during harvest weekend, samples of various rhubarb dishes and/or tea.
