Step back in time and experience, hands-on, a working tenant farm in the year 1799, located on the shores of Narragansett Bay. Discover the simple pleasures and daily tasks of everyday people in 18th-century America and stroll 48 acres of pristine farm land, where we care for heritage breeds of poultry and livestock and grow heirloom varieties of vegetables and fruits at risk of extinction. Interpreters dressed in accurate reproduction clothing welcome you into our living history museum, where you can chat by the hearth of the original farmhouse dating to the late 1700s. Coggeshall Farm Museum is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 educational institution supported by admissions, memberships and donations.
