What happens when you put ten species of animals with different personalities and a senses of purpose together? You get a farm full of life, funny happenings and interesting experiences. Apple Hill Farm is brimming with new and engaging moments of animal life. Best of all, one of our missions is to share this amazing place with you!
Apple Hill Farm is an Alpaca Farm that sits atop Valle Mountain in Banner Elk, NC, on the site of a 45-year-old apple orchard. We're home to alpacas, llamas, cats, chickens, dogs, donkeys, goats, horses,ponies, Mr. Pickles the mini pig and even a human or two! During the summer and fall we give hour and a half tours of the farm every Saturday. The rest of the week and year we're open for private tours booked by appointment. Come on out and meet everyone! We also boast an extensive selection of alpaca yarns as well as sock, hats, gloves, blankets and more made from alpaca fiber.
Private tours may be booked Mondays through Saturdays year round
Private Full Tour - $50 for a group of 15 or less
Public Tours are given every Saturday at 2pm from starting on May 19th
$10 for adults, $5 for children under 13
