Sugarbush Farm is a three generation working farm with maple syrup production, cheese smoking, and aging, and beef cattle. In 2004 over 35,000 made the trip off Rt 4 to visit a real working farm, taste samples of 13 cheeses and four grades of maple syrup. Tour the maple sugar making building, watch a video of how its made, take a nature walk to see the maple trees and how they are tapped. Farm animals to pat during the summer and fall, tasting room for Vermont jams, mustards and other food products. Shipping and mail order available.
Sugarbush Farm is located in central Vermont, off US Rt 4. 3 miles East of Woodstock, leave Rt 4 at the village of Taftsville. Look for a red covered bridge on the north side of Rt 4, when you come out of the covered bridge, head up the hill and turn left on to Hillside Road. Yellow directional signs from the bridge...3 miles from Taftsville to Sugarbush Farm. A lovely rural road, use caution during the winter and early spring.
