Agritourism - Quinta de Abol de Baixo
The structure has a panoramic view. 9 rooms (5 rooms & 3 villas). It's a farm with more than 35 hectares of vineyards, fruit trees and gardens, located between Douro river and Tamega river. Produces green wine. At a distance of 0,7km you may find thermal treatments. The nearest city is Penafiel (13km), the airport is in Oporto city (35km). The river has small beaches (0,5km). This area is famous by some archeological findings (a roman city) and it is well known not only by its green wine but for the excellent food, regional food. This area also contains some interesting monuments, like churches, and a very famous religion procession by Easter, in this procession both margins of the river shine with candles (0,5km).
It's very calm, quite, ideal for families with children.
By Plane/Car: Arrival at Francisco Sá Carneiro's Airport - take A4 (direction Vila Real) - leave to Penafiel Sul/Entre-os-Rios - take EN106 - after 13km arrive Torre where there's a turn right to Eja. Soon you'll find the Farm/Guest House.
By Train/Bus: S. Bento Station Oporto/Penafiel, in Penafiel there is a Bus to Torre.
