Montana State Fair is held annually in Great Falls and is fast approaching its 75th anniversary in 2006. We pride ourselves in being an outstanding exhibition for agriculture. Animals, grains, vegetables, homemade foods, canned goods, a petting zoo, farm equipment displays and antique tractor parades are just part of this nine-day extravaganza.
Montana State Fair is also home to legendary PRCA Rodeo action four nights, Tuesday - Friday. See the best cowboys and cowgirls compete under the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association; you'll see many contenders go on to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo in Vegas in December.
Music is a long-standing tradition at Montana State Fair. The Country Six Pack allows you to buy six nights of entertainment for one price -- all country music. The 3Rivers Stage showcases free entertainment throughout the week with country music, hypnotists, clogging, comedy and more.
Admission to the State Fair is $5 with a coupon from participating sponsors. Call 727-8900 for more information, or log on to www.montanastatefair.com.
