Bag End is a small farm specializing in raising the exquisite suri alpaca. Suri fiber is lustrous, slick and cool to the touch, similar to silk in its textile properties. Suri alpacas are much more rare than their more common huacaya counterparts, with only 5% of the world's alpacas being of the suri type.
Here at the farm, you are welcome to meet our suris, or some of the other animals that call Bag End home - burros, heritage breed pigs, Nigerian dwarf dairy goats and many types of poultry. Learn more about fiber arts, or treat yourself to a shopping spree in the farm store, which boasts a wide variety of alpaca fiber products as well as other local farm goods.
