American River Conservancy
The Conservancy offers tours of the Wakamatsu Tea and Silk Colony Farm every month. The ARC activity calendar has a list of upcoming public tour dates.
Aside from public tours, we also conduct private tours for groups of various sizes. Please contact julie at 530-621-1224 to make a private tour reservation. While we try to accommodate all requests for private tours, we appreciate an advance notice of two weeks. This gives us time to schedule our volunteer docents.
Private TOUR Policy:
Fees for private tours are $10/adult (18+), $5/youth (17 and under). We charge a minimum fee of $100/private tour. All fees benefit the Wakamatsu Tea and Silk Colony Farm restoration efforts.
Disclaimer: While we try to accommodate all people, please note that the farm tours require going up and down stairs and walking up to 1 mile of graded, dirt trails. It's an active tour so patrons with limited mobility should consider this prior to signing up for a tour.
