Eagle Mills Cider Mill and Family Fun Park is a unique agritourism destination in upstate NY, in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains. The property features a working, waterwheel powered cider and ice cream mill. The Mill is nestled along a mill pond fed by a crystal clear mountain stream, with a beautiful waterfall next to it. Within view is a 40 ft. long Covered Bridge. A visit here is a step back in time, as if one were walking into a Rockwell painting. Owned by the Boyko family, Eagle Mills offers lots of family fun in a stress free and safe environment, surrounded by towering pine and hardwood trees.
If the Mill is the heart of the property, then their country bakery must be the 'soul'. Eminating from the bakery, it's not unusual to smell the aroma of fresh cider donuts and homebaked pies, with other sweet treats such as turnovers and pastries. Across the Covered Bridge, you may be lucky enough to see them making their famous homemade ice cream and fudge, sample some, then sit with a delicious ice cream cone and cup of coffee on the Creekside Deck.
Every Sunday morning throughout the summer and fall they host a popular Country Breakfast Buffet in their Creekside Pavilion. A full and hearty meal including eggs, pancakes, french toast, homefries, homemade gravy and biscuits, fruit cup and coffee is served buffet style. Their cantilevered deck over the stream fills quickly with hungry customers. It's become a Sunday morning tradition!
With a focus on family fun, Eagle Mills offers activities for the young and old alike! A gem mining sluiceway, reminiscent of the old west, allows customers to pan for semi-precious gemstones. Nearby the Dino Dig is popular with children from 2 to 8. A trackless train takes customers on an ecological adventure through the woods, along the mountain stream through a pristine pine forest. Finally, young ones can burn off some energy in their Kidsville area which features a 'tinytown' pedal cart track, large wooden train and tractor and other fun activities.
Open summer and fall, special events are held frequently on the weekends, including a popular SamplerFest, Pinoeer Mill Days, Corvette Cruise In, and their famous Art and Craft Shows, held annually the last two weekends in September.
