"The Happy Clappy Farm" illustrates the perfect example of what a traditional rural Transylvanian Farm is all about.
The HouseHold per se consists of a House with 10 Rooms, 2 Bathrooms and 1 Kitchen (the Winter Kitchen).
The House is surrounded by a yard in which one can find: the Summer-kitchen (to which the traditional bread oven and the wheat-grinder are attached), the well and a small plantation of wine.
In the back of the house there is the garden—filled from Spring to Autumn with bio tomatoes, eggplant, onion, green pepper, green beans, potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower, and strawberries- and the orchard with apple/plum/nut trees. ALL Bio-Farming.
More to it, there is a pretty big corn and wheat field. The older man of the family, Gligor, is a passionate beekeeper- with about 15 beehives in his care. In his free time, Gligor is also a Hunter (wild-boar).
More to the house, one can find a carpenter’s workshop and also a special room designated to the homemade production of the traditional Transylvanian plum-brandy, also known as Schnapps.
Last but not least, the animals have their own little "rooms" around the house. The family has: 7 buffaloes, 2 cows, 2 pigs, 15 chickens and 1 cat. No dog.
