The family of owner Vicky Moses has owned the 30-acre property that houses the farm for many years, but they did not convert the property into its present form until the late 1990's. Since then, visitors have come from all over the country to see the unique property and to purchase their award winning llamas.
The Second Time Around Mini Farm is a safe haven for many animals who have been abused. Many of the animals on the farm were rescued from abusive situations and nursed back to health on the premises.
Second Time Around is home to over 30 llamas, many of which have been awarded numerous regional and national awards. They are recognized nationally for their quality, disposition, conformation and championship pedigree. From carting, performance and halter to guarding and pet quality, there is a llama for everyone.
Why do you shear the midsection of a llama? Do goats really eat anything? What is that lotion-like stuff on lamb's wool? Can a bird dance?
These questions and many more will be answered as you tour the Second Time Around Mini Farm. Our one and a half hour guided tours are interactive and are meant to impart knowledge of the incredible creatures that inhabit the farm, as well as understanding of the traits and behavior that make them special.

Anyone wanting to try something different...
The fun doesn't have to end when you finish your tour of the Second Time Around Mini Farm. Visitors can stay the night in our private bungalow. Relax by the pool as you gaze over the 30 acres of pastures, ponds and gardens. Work up a sweat trolling around on our paddle boats or enjoy a relaxing afternoon fishing in the pond.
“Vicky was, without a doubt, the friendliest and most hospitable host we've ever had at a bed and breakfast. Our accomodations were so comfortable, and essentially we had free reign of the entire farm. This is a beautiful place, and just sitting on the deck looking around gives you a sense of calm you cannot find anywhere else.”
After a long day, satisfy your appetite with dinner from our outdoor kitchen overlooking the property. Pets and children are always welcome for the day or the evening, so there's no excuse; try something different at the Second Time Around Mini Farm.
