100 acre certified organic dairy and farmstead creamery. We produce unpasteurized milk as well as fresh cheeses, yogurts and cultured dairy products. Raw milk aged cheeses are also available. Our herd is primarily Normande cattle, with some Jersey and a couple Holstein. We are a 'closed herd'. This means we raise all our cattle, and do not buy in additional animals. Rotational grazing is used to provide a healthy, forage based diet for the cows. In the winter, the cows eat hay that is harvested form our land and neighboring fields. A small amount of organic grain(3-5#) is fed to the milkers during milking. We milk once a day.
Our farm is diversified and we also offer pork, beef, chicken, eggs and vegetables.
Our products are found here on the farm, at local farmers markets, and small independent grocery and health food stores.
