Black Mesa Ranch
Black Mesa Ranch is a small artisan goat cheese dairy located at nearly 6000 feet of elevation in the beautiful White Mountains of Arizona. We make a variety of cheeses from the milk of our own small herd of pure-bred, registered Nubian goats. The goats, who are known for the richness of their milk, browse our 280 acres of high desert terrain free-range, coming in to be milked twice a day.
The only certified goat dairy in the state, we are a true “micro-dairy”, milking just 24 goats for 10 months out of the year and making about 200 lbs of cheese a week.

Snowflake is located between Show Low and Holbrook AZ. We are about 15 miles from town (6 miles on dirt roads). Roads can be impassable in inclement weather. Please email or call for appointments and directions.
